Bespoke Dining Table

An early piece by Stratum Designs made for our client in Redruth, Cornwall. Linda knew what she wanted and worked with us through every step of the build process. Lines were cast, materials were chosen, leaving this truly unique piece of furniture.

Modern Marquetry specifics: Linda had a great vision of what she wanted the outcome to look like. We started with a mixture of inlaid parallel timber and ply woods, added a large section of dark hardwood and finished off with a wave of timber stripes that punched through the boarder.

Materials: A 36mm Birch Plywood substrate made up our canvas. A mixture of hardwoods, softwoods and plywoods were used within the inlay techniques. The table top has been mounted on a pair of custom built metal legs.

Finish: A hard-wearing finish allows the table to be wipeable and resistant to all everyday tasks.
