Bench seating with striped modern marquetry

Nicknamed ‘The Donkey Bench’, this is a personal favourite of ours. It has been built with strength in mind but also with an artful composition of inlay. Various wooden materials make up the structure whilst inlaid stripes allow for a playful inlay design. 

Modern Marquetry specifics: Almost parallel striped inlay covers the top of the bench in an artful, yet playful design.

Materials: Various species of wood have been used within the inlayed top. A mixture of hardwoods and Birch Plywood has ben used to build the solid structure.

Finish: Hard wax oil gives this bench a textured surface that will withstand any wear and tear.
